Our organization is seeking an experienced, fully registered physiotherapist to join our team in Melbourne. This mobile community role focuses on helping senior clients rediscover the joy of movement, improve their confidence, and achieve personal health goals that are significant to them.

About The Role\Component

You will work as a mobile physiotherapist to deliver goal-oriented care plans to our senior clients (65+) within the community. Your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized goal plans, providing targeted therapy, and celebrating with clients once they achieve their goals.

  • Conduct thorough assessments and identify what matters most to each client\Component
  • Develop customized goal plans in collaboration with the client\Component
  • Deliver tailored, client-centered therapy sessions\Component
  • Celebrate clients' successes when they reach their goals\Component
  • Liaise with clients, families, carers, case managers, and health professionals to ensure everyone is informed about progress

Key requirements include:

  • Physiotherapy degree from a recognized institution\Component
  • Full registration with AHPRA\Component
  • Valid 'Aged Care' police check\Component
  • Current valid driver's license\Component
  • First aid certificate\Component
  • Up-to-date flu vaccination\Component
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues\Component
  • Strong communication skills and empathy\Component
  • Capacity to have fun and be part of a close-knit team
