Allied Health Assistant - Therapeutic Support Role

Job Description

The role of an Allied Health Assistant is a dynamic opportunity to form part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for providing therapeutic and program-related support to Allied Health professionals.

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and adaptability are essential skills. The successful candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team in various settings, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care as prescribed by medical practitioners.
  • Work with Allied Health professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV Allied Health Assistant, nursing or other relevant qualification.
  • Understanding of theoretical principles of work undertaken by all Allied Health Professionals.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
