We are seeking an experienced boilermaker to contribute to our organisation due to continuous growth. This is a full-time opportunity based in Newcastle, NSW.

  • Interpret and check drawings for fabrication and welding requirements
  • ">Fabricate and construct metal components to a high standard within specified tolerances
  • ">Perform quality checks on finished products
  • ">Train apprentices by demonstrating correct work procedures
  • ">Maintain the cleanliness of your designated workplace and site in general to 5S Standard

    Requirements

    • ">
    • Relevant trade qualifications in boilermaking, sheet metal or fabrication
    • ">Excellent metal fabrication, equipment design and modification skills
    • ">Ability to interpret drawings and work off sketches when required
    • ">Experience with MIG, TIG, mild steel and stainless with high standard workmanship
    • ">Switchboard experience is highly desirable
    • ">Ability to work within deadlines and as part of a team
    • ">Driver's license and forklift, boom & scissor, dogman, confined space tickets are an advantage
    ">
