We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Collections Team as a Team Leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Collections Manager in the delivery of quality pathology services.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Collections Manager in the provision of safe, customer-focused pathology service provision
- Manage associated clinical, operational, and staffing requirements
- Provide training and education to collections staff
- Deliver high-quality collections services, including specialized collections such as sweat tests and venesections
- Work collaboratively with the Collections Manager to identify and implement quality and service improvement activities
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
- Demonstrated experience acting in an in-charge position, including the ability to work in a team environment while supervising
- Display initiative, problem-solving, and analytical skills, including the ability to apply established principles in a pathology setting
- Customer-focused approach with well-developed interpersonal skills and good oral and written communication skills
- Previous venepuncture experience and familiarity with pathology terminology and requirements
- Commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement
