Job Title: Metal Fabrication Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Drafter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take control of drafting and detailing for a variety of products.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking independent control of drafting and detailing for multiple projects at a time. This individual must have confidence in handling projects independently and work closely with senior management on different projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in drafting and detailing, preferably in metal/steel fabrication or manufacturing
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Inventor, and Solidworks
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant Australian Building Codes and Standards
  • Experience with 3D drafting of Tube/Pipework, Sheet Metal and 2D drafting
  • Production of detailed shop drawings/parts list for fabrication and client approval
  • Production of rendered images for clients
