We are seeking an experienced Village Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our mine-site village. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service standards are met while working within contractual scope of works.

About the Role
  • You will have overall responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the village, including managing budgets and resources to deliver high-quality services.
  • Demonstrate professionalism when dealing with residents, visitors, and staff to ensure a positive experience for all.
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, residents, colleagues, and visitors.
  • Evaluate food safety standards and ensure compliance with HACCP plans, Critical Control Point (CCP), and all records and schedules are compliant within the management system.
  • Provide employees with relevant training and support in all aspects of their individual positions.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a mine-site village manager or assistant mine-site village manager in a fly-in/fly-out scenario is essential.
  • You must possess excellent people management skills and a sound knowledge of OH&S requirements both legislative and site-specific.
  • A positive attitude toward providing excellent customer service is required.
  • Competent computer skills with the ability to learn new systems are necessary.
