Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional team player to join our gelato shop as an all-rounded individual who can excel in a variety of roles. About the Role

  • Provide top-notch customer service and ensure that every customer leaves the shop with a smile on their face
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and quality in all aspects of gelato production and shop operations
  • Manage cash and stock efficiently to maximize sales and productivity
  • Produce premium gelato through in-house training and develop new recipes
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including preparing the shop for trading and ensuring that it is secure at the end of the day
  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock control and ordering systems to prevent stockouts and overstocking
  • Carry out maintenance tasks as required to ensure that the shop is well-maintained and runs smoothly

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of key responsibilities, including:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with customers
  • Ensuring that the shop is always clean, tidy, and well-presented
  • Managing cash and stock effectively to maximize sales and productivity
  • Producing premium gelato through in-house training and developing new recipes
  • Performing opening and closing duties and ensuring that the shop is secure at all times
  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate stock control and ordering systems
  • Carrying out maintenance tasks as required

Requirements

  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and public holidays
  • Australian drivers license (preferred)
