At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Technician to play a vital role in our Operations group.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technical professional who enjoys troubleshooting and resolving complex security system issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security systems IT hardware and troubleshooting, with experience in setup/configuration and installation of Gallagher access control and intruder alarm systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to the implementation and execution of maintenance activities associated with the electronic security system.
- Plan and perform routine preventative maintenance tasks, as well as reactive maintenance tasks associated with security systems at Correctional Facilities and Projects.
- Support the delivery of Variations and Minor Works projects, including equipment installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and witness testing.
- Develop and maintain maintenance procedures required for reactive and preventative maintenance tasks.
Flexible work arrangements, such as 9 day fortnight, will be considered for this role.
About You:- At least 5 years' experience in the security industry with IP based systems.
- Experience with security systems IT hardware and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Gallagher access control and intruder alarm systems, as well as IP based CCTV and intercom systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
A Defence security clearance is required for this role. The successful applicant will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline level or have the ability to gain one.
