Job Description

This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality education and care for children. The Service Educator will work collaboratively with other Educators, Room Leaders, the Educational Leader, and the Nominated Supervisor to deliver a holistic approach to early childhood education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the best interests of the child, collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality education and care, and reflecting on their performance critically. They will also engage children through meaningful, intentional, spontaneous interactions, supporting their agency, routine, and use of technology and sustainability practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide education and care for children enrolled at the Service
  • Work collaboratively with other Educators, Room Leaders, the Educational Leader, and the Nominated Supervisor
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality education and care aligned with the Service philosophy, procedures, policies, National Regulations and Law, National Quality Standards, and Early Years Learning Framework
  • Reflect on performance critically
  • Engage children through meaningful, intentional, spontaneous interactions
