Savanna is a leader in energy services offering drilling and well servicing solutions.

We are currently seeking qualified leasehands, floorhands, motorhands, derrickhands, assistant drillers and drillers to join our growing Land Rigs teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Positive attitude towards safety
  • Right to live and work in Australia
  • Ability to work outdoors, in remote locations
  • Physical strength and stamina
  • Ability to work long hours and in extreme weather conditions
  • Must be able to work at heights
  • Able to follow directions and company policies
  • Valid open and manual full C (Car) Class driver's licence
  • Awareness of Chain of Responsibility Regulations
  • General knowledge of machinery is considered an asset
  • Team player with good communication skills, sound safety appreciation, time management and competent computer skills

Certifications:

  • Leasehand and Motorhand roles: Certificate II in Oil/Gas Drilling Operations (On shore), Front End Loader certification
  • Derrickhand role: Certificate III in Oil/Gas Drilling Operations (On shore), IWCF Level 2 Certificate, Monkeyboard Experience
  • Assistant Driller (AD) role: Certificate III in Oil/Gas Drilling Operations (On shore), IWCF Level 3 Certificate
  • Driller role: Certificate IV in Oil/Gas Drilling Operations (On shore), IWCF Level 3 Certificate, Wellsite Permit Authority (Rev 3)
