Job Title: Unattended Retail Manager

NW Mining & Civil is seeking a highly organized and technically-minded individual to oversee the operations of their vending machine company and laundromat.

Key Responsibilities:Vending Operations:
  • Manage the stocking, maintenance, and operation of 40+ vending machines around Mount Isa, including on the mine site.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure timely restocking.
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic vending machine issues to minimize downtime.
  • Analyse sales data to optimize product placement and inventory for each location.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure product availability and competitive pricing.
Laundromat Operations:
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the laundromat, including machine maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Handle customer service issues and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Coordinate repairs and service for laundry machines as needed.
  • Monitor utility usage and work on cost-effective operational strategies.
Administrative Duties:
  • Manage budgets for vending machine stock and laundromat operations.
  • Maintain accurate financial and inventory records, including cash collection & banking.
  • Analyse and report on vending and laundromat performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in retail or operations management, including managing supply chains, ordering and stock replenishment.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair vending machines and laundry equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple vending machine locations.
  • Ability to pass a mine site medical and inductions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in using software for inventory management, scheduling, and reporting.
