Job Title: Storeperson

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate stock control and efficient goods inwards & outwards procedures.
  • Prepare customer orders, including procurement and dispatch of products.
  • Review and control stock levels, reordering product as required.
  • Provide excellent service to customers in the warehouse area and direct them to other areas for additional information and support.
  • Communicate with team members regarding all matters involving inventory, including order delays; product packaging issues; potential product reorders; customer special orders availability/dispatch.
  • Coordinate safe delivery of product to customers by ensuring trucks are loaded safely and product is unloaded as required.
  • Maintain a safe and clean warehouse and yard area, adhering to legal storage requirements.
  • Champion safety and compliance requirements by demonstrating duty of care and identifying and reporting hazards within the workplace.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in warehousing, including receipt and dispatch of products, customer service, and understanding the importance of safety in the workplace.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers.
