About the Role

We are seeking skilled and entry-level concrete labourers to join our team at Shadforth, a leading civil construction company in Queensland. As a concrete labourer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to concrete work, including formwork, steel fixing, and finishing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general concrete labouring duties, including carrying mesh, shovelling, and formwork stripping
  • Assist in the construction of concrete structures, including footpaths, driveways, and curbs
  • Work on residential and commercial sub-divisions, as well as major infrastructure projects
  • Participate in the preparation and finishing of concrete surfaces
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and safe working practices
Requirements
  • Driver's licence and reliable transport
  • White card
  • Ability to work 06:30-17:00 Monday to Friday with Saturdays as required
  • Previous concreting experience is highly regarded, but not essential
  • Willingness to perform manual handling duties, including repetitive tasks involving moderate to heavy lifting
  • Ability to work as a team player
