Desktop Support Specialist

This is an onsite role providing second-level end user IT support and problem resolution at a client site.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Hardware installation, setup and configuration, problem diagnosis and resolution for desktop PC & Laptop devices.
  2. Support of meeting room equipment in MS Teams environment.
  3. General IT troubleshooting and assistance as required on site.
  4. Incident management, knowledge base articles, tasks and assets within the Service Management tool to meet high standards and service level agreements.
  5. Maintaining the stock/build room area in a tidy and organized condition.
  6. Managing electronic waste responsibly.
  7. Conducting user training sessions.
  8. Providing assistance with project work as needed.
  9. Occasional participation in after-hours/weekend support activities when required.
Requirements:
  • Qualification in an Information Technology related field.
  • Experience in supporting various IT technologies including hardware support, Windows 11, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts.
  • Effective communication skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to commit to regular and punctual attendance.
  • Valid driver's license for occasional travel to other sites.
