Role Overview

We are seeking two dedicated professionals to join our team at a six-month-old early learning service in Mount Waverley.

The successful candidates will be working with a passionate and friendly team who promote children's interest through play-based learning.

The Reggio-inspired curriculum integrates literacy, numeracy, science, music, social awareness, emotional intelligence, and language development into a typical week.

The toddler room has quickly grown to 16 children, and the addition of two educators will ensure we are above ratio.

This role is focused on creating a stimulating, positive, and fun environment for the children. Responsibilities include:

  • Making children laugh while learning
  • Implementing and evaluating programs indoors and outdoors
  • Writing observations and analysing children's progression and development
  • Developing strong relationships with children and effectively communicating with parents and carers
Key Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A completed Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Previous experience in a long daycare setting
  • A positive attitude to life, ability to work as a team player, and excellent communication skills
  • Able to maintain a professional manner in the workplace
  • A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS, and other child safety regulations
  • Current First Aid, WWCC, and child protection/mandatory reporting certifications
