About this Role
As a Gymnastics Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality programs and services that empower kids to thrive.
Your enthusiasm for all aspects of YMCA gymnastics programs and strong communication skills will ensure a safe and welcoming environment where students flourish.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating a fun and engaging atmosphere that prioritizes our young gymnasts' growth and development.
The key responsibilities of this role include providing support to qualified coaches during peak times, including weekends, school holidays, and special events.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in gymnastics and working with children, excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children, young people, and all facility users.
Key requirements include:
- No prior coaching experience is required, but a willingness to undertake necessary training to become a qualified gymnastics coach.
- Availability to work during peak times, including weekends, school holidays, and special events.
- Willingness to complete FA/CPR certificates in order to become a qualified gymnastics coach.
- Current Working with Children Check (for all ages).
