Financial Strategist – Capital Works


Job Description:

The Financial Strategist – Capital Works will play a crucial role in driving the delivery of significant community projects and providing high-level financial support across the organisation.

In this position, you will build strong relationships with Project Managers and Business Units, offering a customer-focused finance service that delivers practical solutions and improved practices.

You will provide advice and analysis to support the development of the Council's Capital Works Program, monitor delivery and ensure all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements are met.

The role will also see you undertaking business case and complex financial analysis for major projects, supporting financial evaluations of strategic service planning as required.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your finance expertise in a role that makes a direct impact on the community.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Capital Works, Assets, or Business Partnering within a large-scale organisation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • CA/CPA qualification or working towards.
  • Experience with TechOne/CI Anywhere highly regarded.
