About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mail Sorting Officer. As a key member of our Delivery Centre team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Posties and ensuring the smooth delivery of mail to our local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually sorting mail into logical street, number, and round sequences
  • Lifting and handling heavy parcels and bags of mail regularly
  • Operating manual pallet jacks and stackers to receive and dispatch large volumes of mail
  • Providing excellent customer service and working collaboratively with colleagues

About You

  • You are flexible and able to work additional hours if required
  • You have a great memory, excellent attention to detail, and can lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly
  • Experience operating manual pallet jacks or stackers is advantageous but not mandatory
