The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Nursing qualification and excellent clinical knowledge and skills, with the ability to relate to the elderly with empathy and understand their needs.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating client care needs, including assessment, case management and developing individualised care plans. You will also provide complex clinical care, including wound dressing, medication administration and condition assessments.
You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams regarding care delivery and goals, recognising changing needs of residents and liaising with resident families. Your strong leadership skills will enable you to supervise and lead care staff and Enrolled Nurses as part of a wider team.
This role offers a supportive culture led by our people who make a real impact on the lives of those we care for every single day. Our beautifully refurbished Residential Care Centre at McNamara Lodge offers permanent and respite care, along with comprehensive activity programs to keep our residents active and engaged.
Key Requirements:- Possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Hold a current registration with AHPRA.
- Possess excellent clinical knowledge and skills (minimum 6 months experience working as a Registered Nurse).
- Ability to relate to the elderly with empathy and understand their needs.
- Demonstrate flexible decision making and advanced problem solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
