Role Description
As a Business Intelligence Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing AI and ML solutions to drive business outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights that inform business decisions.
This is a high-impact role where you will have the opportunity to shape the future of data science at LMG and make a real difference in the lives of our customers.
This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office per week) that can be done from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement AI and ML solutions to address complex business challenges.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to deploy models on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Leverage dbt (Data Build Tool) to create reusable features for the data and analytics community.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends in AI, machine learning, and data science, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Communicate technical insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, including model development, deployment, and productionisation.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and machine learning model development.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services.
- Proven ability to translate business problems into data science solutions and deliver impactful results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) is a significant advantage.
- Strong leadership skills.
