Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients to improve their mental health, daily functioning, and overall wellbeing.

Job Description:

You will conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' functional abilities, daily routines, and psychosocial needs. Develop and deliver evidence-based, personalized interventions to enhance independence, coping strategies, and life participation.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' functional abilities, daily routines, and psychosocial needs.
  • Design and implement evidence-based interventions to improve clients' independence, coping strategies, and life participation.
  • Support clients in building skills for self-care, work, education, and community engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor progress.

About You:

To be successful as an Occupational Therapist, you will require relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, current AHPRA registration, and 3-5+ years of clinical experience in occupational therapy (mental health, rehabilitation, or community care highly regarded).
