About the Project:

The North East Link project, Victoria's largest road project, is a Public Private Partnership between The Spark Consortium and the Victorian Government.

This ambitious project includes twin three-lane tunnels connecting the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway, reducing journey times and diverting heavy vehicles away from local roads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead recruitment excellence by driving the end-to-end recruitment process across the project, ensuring top-tier candidate experiences and strategic hiring for critical roles.
  • Develop and implement effective workforce talent management strategies to meet project needs.
  • Manage a team responsible for blue-collar and white-collar recruitment, as well as executive recruitment.
  • Collaborate with project leadership to provide strategic advice on project planning, recruitment governance, and continuous improvement of workforce development programs.
  • Champion social outcomes through active involvement in social procurement and candidate engagement strategy, including creating opportunities for priority job seekers, Aboriginal businesses, and social enterprises.
  • Develop and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to increase female representation on shortlists and interviews across the project.
  • Utilize data analytics tools like Power BI to accurately report on resourcing progress and ensure compliance with project requirements.

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive leader with a passion for creating lasting workforce solutions to join our team as Resourcing Lead.

This role offers unlimited opportunities for professional growth in a high-performing, industry-leading project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the future of workforce talent and engagement strategies for one of Australia's most exciting infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in recruitment, preferably in construction, engineering, or project-specific resourcing strategy.
  • Strong background in talent pipelining and internal recruitment processes.
