Job Title: Workshop Foreperson

About The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced workshop foreperson to lead our panel beating shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the panel beating shop, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for staff and customers.
  • Collaborate with parts and admin teams prior to vehicle arrival on site to deliver a seamless repair experience for customers.
  • Review repair quotes to ensure accuracy and completeness, including appropriate methods of repair.
  • Manage the repair process to deliver timely, cost-effective, efficient, and high-quality repairs the first time.
  • Create a workflow in repair production that is free from bottlenecks to achieve key to key repair timeframes.
  • Deal with insurance assessors and manage a team of skilled technicians and administrative staff.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction through regular feedback and hands-on approach.
About You:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the industry, has excellent leadership skills, and can think critically to resolve issues. You must be empathetic towards customers and provide regular feedback to staff.
