
Chief Enforcement Officer

A key role exists for a Director to lead the development and implementation of strategies, policies and procedures in areas of Regulatory Compliance, Investigations, and Enforcement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading internal and external experts in complex investigations and litigation, exercising professional judgement in Enforcement matters, and contributing to the achievement of AUSTRAC's strategic goals.
- Lead teams in complex investigations and litigation, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Exercise professional judgement in Enforcement matters, providing expert advice to senior management.
- Contribute to the achievement of AUSTRAC's strategic goals, enhancing the organization's effectiveness.
- Represent AUSTRAC in external forums, building relationships with stakeholders and networks.
To be eligible for this role you:
- Must be an Australian citizen at the time of application.
- Will need to undergo AUSTRAC's pre-engagement checks.
- Will need to obtain and maintain ongoing Baseline Security Clearance.
