Project Engineer: Civil and Structural Expertise

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the civil and structural integrity of a large-scale renewable energy project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify civil works designs, including drawings and reports, to ensure compliance with Australian and international standards for safety, durability, and maintainability.
  • Perform or oversee technical analyses and computations to validate contractor designs and identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams (geotechnical, mechanical, electrical) to resolve technical issues and stay informed on critical project developments that may impact structural design.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and analysis tools.
  • Excellent understanding of building codes and regulations, including AS/NZS and other relevant standards.
