The Australian National Maritime Museum seeks a seasoned marketing expert to spearhead its brand and marketing efforts.
This key role leads the Museum's strategic and operational brand and marketing activities to establish its brand positioning, driving sales growth. Reporting to the Deputy Director, the Marketing Strategist is responsible for strategy development, planning, and execution within the marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the brand, marketing, and tourism strategy to drive business outcomes.
- Design and manage key team processes to ensure optimal transition and positioning of the brand and marketing team across the Museum.
- Contribute to the development of brand strategy and implementation.
- Assess product lifecycle and develop targeted product marketing strategies.
- Establish performance metrics and reporting for the management team.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in senior marketing roles, preferably within the arts or cultural sector.
- Demonstrated expertise across multiple marketing disciplines, particularly content strategy, digital marketing, and relationship marketing.
- Experience leading, managing, and motivating high-performing teams with diverse skill sets.
