Highway Maintenance Specialist

\Job Summary:\

This role requires a highly skilled and physically active individual to perform maintenance and manual labor tasks using plant and equipment.

\Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on highways, including but not limited to widening & barrier installs, enhanced road pavements, overtaking lanes and heavy patching works.\
  • Travel extensively throughout the region to attend worksites, including attending call outs where required.\
  • Work collaboratively with a team to achieve project goals and objectives.\
  • Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently.\
  • Undertake other duties as required by the team leader or supervisor.\\[/ul]\Requirements:\

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A current driver's license and ability to operate plant and equipment.\
  • White Card certification and previous experience as a Road Worker Grade 1-3 level or related civil construction laboring experience.\
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces and in challenging weather conditions.\
