Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Tuning and Optimization: Implement performance tuning solutions and roadmaps for cloud and big data platforms, and develop non-functional requirements for new and old platforms.
  • Capacity Planning and Chaos Engineering: Conduct capacity planning and chaos engineering activities to identify bottlenecks and performance issues, and develop strategies for optimization.
  • Performance Testing and Analysis: Lead the design, development, and execution of performance test plans and test cases for cloud and big data applications, and analyze performance test results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with development, DevOps, and data engineering teams to implement performance improvements, and provide detailed performance analysis reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor and guide team members on performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, and stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in cloud and big data performance testing.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in custom coding in Java to build custom tools.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Experience in capacity planning and chaos engineering.
  • Experience in performance testing and analysis of cloud and big data applications.
  • Experience in working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Experience in working with big data technologies such as Cloudera, Teradata, and Oracle.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members.
