Job Title:

Tyre Technician

About the Role:

The Tyre Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to tyre fitting, including locating and inspecting tyres, removing and installing new tyres, and balancing and aligning wheels. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Locates member cars in the tyre shop area and inspects tyres for damage or wear.
  • Removes and installs new tyres, and balances and aligns wheels.
  • Cleans and maintains the tyre shop area, including sweeping, mopping, and spraying surfaces.
  • Assists with sales and stocks tyres in the sales area, in accordance with the Tyre Shop Manager's merchandising plan.
  • Follows company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
  • Participates in monthly stocktakes and assists with inventory management.
Requirements:
  • Cert II in Tyre Fitting (preferred)
  • Current Manual Australian Driver's Licence
  • Australian Work Rights
  • Availability to work a rotating schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
