Game Development Officer

The Australian Football League is looking for passionate people to help build strong connections in local communities across Regional QLD.

We are seeking energetic, community-minded individuals who can introduce kids to the game and make sport more inclusive, fun, and accessible.

This role plays a vital part in promoting team sports and helping kids stay active.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, skills-based sessions in schools and clubs
  • Run programs that help kids build confidence, make friends, and love being active
  • Support community events and game days, creating positive experiences for kids and families
  • Champion inclusion, working on initiatives that support multicultural communities, girls in sport, Indigenous programs, and kids of all abilities
What We're Looking For

You don't need to be a footy expert, we're after people who are:

  • Confident working with kids, with a fun, positive energy
  • Great communicators who can connect with children, families, and school staff
  • Reliable, independent, and proactive, especially when working solo in schools or at events
  • Open to learning new things, including AFL activities and programs
  • Able to hold a Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Possess a valid driver's licence and reliable transport
