About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer Graduate to join our team at ELMO. As a key member of our mining operations, you will have the opportunity to apply your engineering expertise and collaborate with experienced professionals to ensure the integrity and safety of our mining structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural solutions for mining operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor structural integrity and identify potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve structural engineering processes and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Recent completion of a Civil Engineering degree or final year of study.
  • Strong understanding of structural design and construction principles, with a focus on mining environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
