Job Summary

This role involves delivering clinical assessment, psychological strategies, counseling, case work, group work and therapeutic support for the community.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing therapeutic counseling and group work interventions for clients with mental illness.
  • Managing client caseloads professionally.
  • Facilitating group programs to educate clients about mental health.
  • Offering Employee Assistance Programs in consultation with the Workplace Service Manager.
  • Consulting with organizations following critical incidents.
  • Identifying and following up on risk issues as needed.
  • Referring clients to internal or external services as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working with complex mental health cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices. A degree in a related field is required, along with relevant work experience.
