Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality active support care to our residents living with a disability.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a friendly and passionate team to support clients and their families, providing care and arranging outings to ensure a positive environment for all.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity, working a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and sleepover night shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised active support care to residents living with a disability, empowering them to live the life of their choice.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team to achieve desired outcomes for clients and their families.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III Individual Support – Disability (minimum).
  • Previous experience in Disability Support and knowledge of the Disability sector.
  • Passion for delivering person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Current full Victorian Driver's licence.
  • Current NDIS Check, WWC, and Level 2 First Aid and CPR Certificate.
