Clinical Data Analyst Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Centre for Health Analytics, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing and visualizing clinical data, and translating clinical requirements into validated data outputs.
About the Role- You will work with clinicians, researchers and technical experts to ensure accurate interpretation of clinical data, support research and quality improvement, and optimize data use for patient care and operational insights.
- You will design, develop, review and optimize data outputs including multi-table SQL queries of clinical data, visualisations, data analyses, insights – using SQL, R, Python, Power BI/Power Query and AI/ML.
- Analyse clinical data problems, design and document requirements for analytics solutions.
- Design, develop, review and optimise data outputs.
- Prepare and maintain training and support documentation.
- A relevant tertiary degree in health science, health informatics, digital health, information technology, data science or equivalent.
- Experience in design, implementation and validation of reports or extracts from a health information system (EMR, PAS or GP software).
