Job Title: Location Planning and Assessment Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Location Planning and Assessment Manager to join our Estate Planning team. The successful candidate will support the estate assessment and identify relocation opportunities, utilising their own initiative, judgement and recommendations.

About the role: As a Location Planning and Assessment Manager, you will support the catchment review, identifying opportunities for new propositions based on analysis of customer profiles and changes in shopping habits, as well as assessments of low performing shops and the relative headroom in those catchments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the estate assessment and identify relocation opportunities
  • Utilise your own initiative, judgement and recommendations to drive business growth
  • Support the catchment review, identifying opportunities for new propositions based on analysis of customer profiles and changes in shopping habits
  • Assess low performing shops and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain the data relating to competitors in each geographic catchment
  • Support on providing sales forecasts for new stores, specifically in the convenience estate

Requirements:

  • Essential skills:
    • Financial analysis
    • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
    • Store catchment analysis
    • Good written communication
    • Project Management
    • Ability to influence stakeholders
  • Desirable skills:
    • Full UK driving license
