Career Opportunity for a CCTV Technician

Urban Asset Solutions is seeking an experienced and skilled CCTV technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipeline inspection and condition assessment reporting, as well as project and client management.

About the Role:

This is a unique position that offers a good mix of hands-on pipeline inspection and condition assessment reporting, project and client management works from one week to the next. The successful applicant will have previous experience in operating pipeline CCTV tractor and push rod cameras (preferably IBAK equipment), WinCan VX and cable and pipe locator equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To operate CCTV tractor camera and push camera equipment.
  • To inspect sewer or stormwater assets and report on conduit inspections.
  • To provide high-quality service with a keen client focus.
  • To work unsupervised and be flexible with your availability.
  • To travel to regional areas if required.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A minimum of 2 years industry experience.
  • Prior experience in operating pipeline CCTV tractor and push rod cameras (IBAK equipment).
  • Experience with WinCan VX and cable and pipe locator equipment.
  • Sound interpersonal skills and effective time management skills.
  • Ability to meet project deliverables, time constraints, while working as part of the national asset maintenance team.
