About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our team at Mosman Council. As an Infrastructure Management Professional, you will be responsible for managing all phases of civil works projects, from investigation and planning to design and implementation.

You will work closely with our Engineering Team to deliver projects that meet the needs of our community. Your expertise in project management, engineering, and communication will be essential in ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage civil works projects from start to finish, including investigation, planning, design, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to scope, plan, and design maintenance and capital works projects.
  • Prepare tender documentation, assess tenders, and administer contracts.
  • Undertake condition and safety audits of infrastructure assets to identify priority maintenance works.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years' relevant experience in civil engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability in liaising with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to manage projects.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of processes involved in preparing tender documentation, tender assessment, and contract administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of organisation, attention to detail, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

We offer a competitive salary package, ranging from $91,865 to $114,265 per annum, plus superannuation and a vehicle allowance.
