Regional Defence Operations Director

The primary objective of this role is to oversee operational management across multiple defence bases within a region.
- Ensure timely and accurate incident notifications and maintain strong communication channels with stakeholders.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for all operational activities, ensuring alignment with state-wide defence contract objectives.
- Conduct regular financial reviews to monitor budgets, expenditures, and performance metrics.
- Oversee performance reviews to assess operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and safety standards.
- Lead the operations team by providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Operations Management.
- Relevant certifications in leadership or project management are highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in operations management, preferably within the defence sector.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-site operations.
- Experience in liaising with government agencies and stakeholders.
- Valid driver's licence.
Australian citizenship and Defence Security Clearance are mandatory for this role.
