We are seeking a visionary academic leader to join our team at the University of Western Australia. As a key member of our School of Allied Health, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of nursing and midwifery education.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and accreditation of new academic programs across multiple disciplines.
- Apply innovative learning design principles and modern assessment frameworks to enhance educational outcomes.
- Develop long-term strategic plans that focus on curriculum enhancement and the initiation of new academic programs.
- Lead change initiatives related to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement of the student experience.
- PhD in an academic field relevant to the discipline, or a combination of management experience and postgraduate qualifications, or progress towards such qualifications, with substantial experience.
- Hold and maintain a current membership with a relevant professional association.
- Extensive experience in curriculum development and course accreditation within Australian higher education.
- Proficiency in curriculum design, contemporary assessment framework (including programmatic assessment), and learning technologies.
- Demonstrable experience of leading public engagement activities with government and industry that promote research leadership and work integrated learning and/or education outcomes.
