We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Carer to join our team at Bupa Aged Care in Banora Point. As a Carer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live longer, healthier, and happier lives.

About the Role

This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary between $30.11 - $33.40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. As a Carer, you will be part of a tight-knit team, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support residents with their medication, meal preparation, and other daily needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive work environment, adhering to Bupa's values and standards.

Requirements
  • A minimum Certificate 3 qualification in Ageing, Individual Support, Care, or Disability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and delegate tasks as needed.
