Job Title:Mechanical Fitter / Boilermaker
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter / Boilermaker Tradesperson to join our Raw Materials Maintenance team in the Utilities department. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to our mission by ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform maintenance and repair work on materials handling conveying transfer systems and associated equipment
- Identify and implement improvements relating to plant equipment, work processes, and practices
- Take responsibility for safety, work quality, and quantity, training, and learning
- Effectively communicate with section customers and peers to achieve maximum productivity
- A strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork
- Trade qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker
- A current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or be eligible to meet this requirement
- Self-motivation with a focus on customer service and continuous improvement
- Ability to work as both an individual and within a team environment supporting planners, supervisors, warehouse, and purchasing teams
