Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer and Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and helping our clients get the most from their technology landscape. Your expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure orchestration, containerisation, and configuration management will be essential in shaping requirements, designing and deploying solutions, and setting up effective engineering and quality practices.

You will also provide valuable advice to clients on how to upskill their teams and achieve outstanding outcomes. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS and GCP
  • Develop and implement infrastructure orchestration tools like SaltStack or Terraform
  • Implement containerisation technologies like Docker, LXC, OpenVZ, or Xen
  • Configure and manage configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
  • Use distributed version control systems like Git
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools like Jenkins or Bamboo
  • Familiarity with software build and release management workflows
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Perl, Python, JavaScript, Bash, Ruby)
  • Linux/Unix system administration experience
  • AWS Architecture or Operations Certification
