Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as liaison between Product Engineering and Operations.
  • Learn processes, tools, and systems used by Engineering and Manufacturing.
  • Configure products according to requirements or product change requests.
  • Document critical manufacturing processes and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Partner with Engineering to design products for manufacturing and factory suitability.
  • Assist Sales and end customers to expedite products while documenting changes for tracking and traceability.
  • Implement LEAN manufacturing principles to improve shopfloor productivity.
  • Review designs for design for manufacturing perspective and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create Manufacturing Bill of Materials in ERP systems and ensure Product build is as per Engineering requirements and approvals.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering.
  • AS1100 knowledge essential.
  • Mechanical drafting and manufacturing experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal, machining detail, threads, and welding designations.
  • 3D experience essential.
  • Ability to apply engineering first principles such as stress analysis and materials selection.
  • Experience working with an ERP system is a plus, SAP preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
