About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Associate to join our Financial Accounting Advisory practice. As a key member of our team, you will assist clients with understanding complex transactions, accounting and reporting matters, and provide hands-on finance support to client finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend financial accounting workshops with clients and perform first-level reviews of draft technical accounting analyses.
  • Attend sustainability reporting workshops with clients and draft reports summarizing key findings based on standard GT templates.
  • Provide practical hands-on support to client finance teams during complex changes, such as finance transformations, acquisitions, divestments, IPO processes, or restructures.
  • Assist with project management of engagements, including coordination of executive reviews and off-shore teams, client on-boarding processes, and adherence to quality and risk management protocols.
  • Develop strong internal and external networks with peers and clients.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals and general participation in business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent with 1-2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/AASB).
  • Background in professional services (audit/assurance) preferred.
  • An interest in financial and non-financial reporting.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills.
  • A proven ability to build strong client relationships.
