About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Taree. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing domestic assistance, social support, and implementing health and wellbeing initiatives that enhance the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and meal preparation, to support clients in maintaining their independence
  • Offer social support and companionship to clients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Implement health and wellbeing initiatives, such as exercise programs and health education, to support clients in achieving their goals
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Understanding of and passion for working with the elderly
  • Ability to work and travel around the Taree area, with travel up to an hour as required
  • Current driver's license and registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
  • Confidence in using different forms of technology, such as smartphones or tablets
