Labourer - Stevedore Role

WorkPac is seeking a Labourer (Stevedore) to carry out manual handling, assembling locks for shipping containers, and facilitating the loading and discharge of cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual handling and assembling locks for shipping containers
• Loading and discharging cargo, including containerised breakbulk and bulk cargoes
• Operating machinery such as mobile harbour cranes, forklifts, front end loaders, and reach stackers
• Driving vehicles on/off Roll-on Roll-off vessels
• Conducting shipboard and wharf duties, ship loading, lashing, and unlashing

Requirements:

• Previous experience and availability for 12 hour shifts
• Flexibility with availability and ability to work day, afternoon, night shifts, and weekends as required
• C Class drivers licence (unrestricted or provisional)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
