Job Description:
Transition to Practice is a pathway of dedicated support and professional development for enrolled nurses with less than six months of experience since initial registration. Our goal is to provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your role as an Enrolled Nurse.
The Role:
The Enrolled Nurse - Transition to Practice role requires:
- Knowledge of the NMBA Enrolled Nurse Standards of Practice and the ability to apply them in the role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including maintaining written documentation and working effectively as part of a team.
- The ability to deliver person-centered nursing care that reflects individual needs and to evaluate care outcomes.
Responsibilities will include providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and contributing to the development of best practices within our organization.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Current Driver's Licence (for Community Nurse roles).
Desirable criteria include:
- Less than six months of experience since initial registration.
- Less than two years since completing your Enrolled Nurse qualification.
