Custody Professional

As a Custodial Officer at Acacia Prison, you will be responsible for the supervision, care, rehabilitation, and reintegration of inmates. You will ensure the safety and security of both inmates and staff, while fostering a positive environment that promotes respect and dignity.
You will play a key role in supporting inmates throughout their sentence, helping them engage in programs that promote rehabilitation and reintegration. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Wooroloo, WA.

- Support the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates by encouraging engagement in education, employment, and programs.">
- Conduct searches, respond to incidents, and prepare accurate reports in line with policies and procedures.">
- Build positive relationships with inmates, staff, and stakeholders, treating everyone with dignity and respect.">
- Promote a culturally sensitive environment by respecting the diversity of inmates and staff.">
- Play an active role in maintaining a safe and secure environment by following health and safety protocols.">
