The Role: Fire Rated Door Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Fire Rated Door Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for providing on-site services including profiling, certification, and maintenance of fire-rated door sets. You'll work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality results while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate on-site profiling measures to ensure accurate measurements and installation.
  • Determine correct installation of frames and floor levels to ensure compliance with AS1905.1/AS1530.4 standards.
  • Administer reports for aspects of poor installation, including frame and floor issues.
  • Coordinate re-visits to site for measuring previously unmeasurable door sets.
  • Conduct on-site inspections of fire-rated door sets to ensure compliance with AS1851 standards.
  • Issue Certification Checklists to builders and clients, and raise Fire Door Tags consistent with provided document sets.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • QBCC License for Certification of Fire Doors & Shutters.
  • Sound proficiency in basic administrative systems.
  • Proficiency in Proliner (electronic) measuring of door openings and associated software uploading.
