Job Overview

Work as a Culinary Assistant

As a culinary assistant, you will assist in food preparation and serve guests with exceptional service standards. You will work under the direction of the Sous Chef to ensure that all food preparation areas meet health department codes. The right candidate will promote positive public and employee relations while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure that food presentation meets high-quality standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Culinary apprenticeship or degree preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in food preparation and service
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment
